Ricordo i racconti di mia madre,
avevo due zii che non conobbi mai:
Saša e Milan morti in Jugoslavija
uno internato dai fascisti nel sud Italia,
l'altro sparito non si sa dove
riposano senza una tomba.
Riposate in pace noi non
vi abbiamo dimenticato
mi restano solo le vostre foto.

Olga, sad to hear your story... :( My dad's family gave aid to the Allies, my grandmother (my mother's mother) was in forced labor in Germany. We must remember that World War 2 was the fault of Germany and Stalin!
RispondiEliminaOlga, I salute you!
The Second World War was the fault of Germany and Poland. It was Poland that was going to attack Czechoslovakia together with Germany (the Pilsudski-Hitler agreement) (which is what happened), and then attack the Soviet Union. But Pilsudski died and Germany attacked Poland on September 1, 1939. Poland has never been able to choose its friends.
EliminaBuona notte Anna.
RispondiEliminaOlga, di' ad Anna di studiare storia!

So sad. I have photos of family I don't know. My dad died before my daughter was born so she will have photos and my memories of him. :-(
